T24 Developer

Main role

• Responsible for software development from technical design to delivery; use Jbase/Java to develop or interface with T24 applications.
• Recommend improvements to existing T24 technical and business processes to meet the Bank's requirements.
• Translate business needs and requirement specifications into design specifications; develop code in conformance with system development standards.
• Work closely with IT Security to ensure applications are well secured, and with third-party vendors to assess proposals.
• Ensure application controls are incorporated during design; document system developments per the application development policy.
• Create test plans, test cases and test scripts and perform technical unit testing.
• Track and manage change requests and user issues; perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with business analysts and the QA team; perform coding, code review and unit testing; contribute to maintenance of the product.

Job requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a technical related field.
• 3-7 years' experience in application development, with a minimum of six years of professional Temenos T24/Core Banking development for financial institutions.
• In-depth T24/JBASE and Java development experience; T24 template programming and customization (VERSION, ENQUIRY, online services), COB.
• Deep understanding of T24 modules: System Core tables, Funds Transfer, Money Market, Forex, Securities, Derivatives, Swaps; AA module and TPH are an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of TAFJ/jBASE, InfoBasic (jBC), jQL, OFS, jAgent.
• Understanding of CI/CD; programming certification; web or mobile application experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills; excellent algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
