Senior Procurement Engineer - Electrical

Job Purpose:

To perform all Technical Procurement activities related to the Contracting/Purchasing of systems, equipment and material for all Company projects in order to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms in accordance with projects’ requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare both technical and financial comparisons, negotiate subcontracts/P.O. s terms with subcontractors/suppliers in order to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms in accordance with projects’ requirements.
• Review catalogs, support in adding new Suppliers in different trades.
• Study project drawings, specifications and related documents & review tender’s proposal, technical, and financial documents.
• Issue and handle Requests for Quotations RFQ’s to subcontractors/suppliers, using the e procurement and updating the Tracking systems.
• Obtain and file quotations from local and international subcontractors/suppliers.
• Prepare submittals for consultant’s/client’s approval in line with the selected vendor and as per the department standards.
• Prepare and process letters of intent, purchase orders and Subcontracts for sub-contractors/suppliers.
• Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.
