Preauthorization Agent

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical providers regarding the admission of all elective cases and the status of ER-admitted cases.
• Follow up with members regarding their medical inquiries about the medical nature of the requested procedure.
• Follow up with medical providers for daily updates on the medical condition and prognosis of admitted cases.
• Follow up with members upon discharge to guide them in the post-acute care phase and discuss the instructions for the needed care.
• Apply medical case management principles to achieve a higher level of medical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Skills/Qualifications

• BSc in medicine/pharmacy.
• A fair medical background.
• Fluent in English, good communication skills and fair medical decision-making skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance field or pharmacies.
• Fulfilled governmental obligation.
