[TEST] Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technology team and help ensure that our products are reliable, scalable, and deliver a seamless experience to our users. You will work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution. Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and reproduce reported issues. Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and product discussions. Validate new features before release; perform API testing and validate integrations. Conduct cross-platform and cross-browser testing where applicable. Maintain clear QA documentation, including test cases, results, and defect reports. Support release and deployment activities with pre- and post-release validation. Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement; support root-cause analysis for production issues. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Control or a similar role. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QC processes. Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman; familiarity with SQL and database validation. Experience with Jira; good understanding of Agile/Scrum. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have: Automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java. CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Experience testing web and mobile applications; performance, security, or accessibility testing.
